Bovino Demotion “Too Little, Too Late” After 12 Shot, 4 Dead at Hands of Federal Agents

The ICE Accountability Project issued the following statement following an Atlantic report that Greg Bovino has been ousted from his role:

“After 12 people shot, four killed, and more than 2,300 people wrongfully detained, Greg Bovino has finally been removed from his role. He never belonged in Minneapolis or Chicago leading militarized missions in the Midwest. He belonged at the border this entire time.

“This move is too little, too late — yet it is an admission that the Trump Administration has crossed the line. They must immediately bring to an end to their aggressive assault on our cities before another life is lost at the hands of federal agents.”
